As people's living standards and living conditions improve, more and more people are paying attention to their health, and many also keep some medicines at home, such as cold medicine, anti-inflammatory drugs, vitamins, aspirin and so on, just in case. But over time, some medicines expire, and in fact some expired medicines are great fertilizer for plants.

Common household items like vitamin B12 and aspirin are not only cheap, but also shared fertilizer for plants, suitable for any flower. After vitamin is absorbed by plants, it can promote rapid plant growth; and the main ingredient in aspirin is acetylsalicylic acid, which not only has a sterilizing and disinfecting effect, but also speeds up the rapid growth of plant roots and branches, so today Shitou shares with everyone the topic:

2 kinds of "cheap" pills, yet they are "shared" fertilizer for plants, add 1 pill to the pot and anything you grow will thrive

Many people like to keep some green potted plants at home, like the most common spider plant, pothos, lucky bamboo, money tree, kalanchoe, evergreen and so on. To make these green potted plants grow strong, you have to keep fertilizing them constantly. If you have expired vitamin B12 and aspirin at home, never throw them away, using them as flower fertilizer works very well.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 is a very good flower fertilizer; for slow-growing plants, you can dilute one tablet of vitamin B12 in 500 grams of water and pour it into the flower pot. After the plant absorbs the vitamin, it will speed up cell division and grow quickly.

Aspirin

The main ingredient in aspirin is acetylsalicylic acid, and acetylsalicylic acid is a substance that can promote rapid rooting and sprouting in plants, especially for lucky bamboo, spider plant and pothos at home. After yellow leaves appear, add one aspirin tablet to the water, and the plant can quickly grow and absorb nutrients, producing emerald green leaves.

It is now autumn, a good time for taking plant cuttings. If you want to take cuttings of pothos, kalanchoe, snake plant and other flowers, you can soak the cuttings in a 0.2% aspirin water solution for ten minutes. This lets the branches root and sprout quickly, improving the survival rate of the cuttings.

If you find that your flowers at home are wilting and turning yellow, you can choose to use vitamin B12 or aspirin, diluted with water to make a 0.2% water solution to water the flowers, once a week, and basically after one month you will see the flowers return to an emerald green and flourishing state.

So if you have expired vitamin B12 and aspirin at home, never throw them away; using them to grow flowers is very good fertilizer, not only recycling waste, but also with very good results.
