3 kinds of flowers develop yellow leaves, give them a "chop", new shoots grow in 30 days, and they thrive even more than before

More and more people like to keep some potted flowers at home. They can purify the air and beautify the room, and keeping some vibrant potted flowers can make people more positive and optimistic!
In the process of growing flowers, I believe all flower-growing friends like to see their potted plants grow dense, green and vigorous. But in real life when growing flowers, it is hard to avoid some flowers developing yellow leaves, rotting or dying. If the flowers in your home show these conditions, do not worry and do not be discouraged. As long as you care for and maintain them properly, they can still become green and vigorous plants.
I suppose many flower lovers always encounter yellow leaves on clivia (Clivia miniata), spider plant (Chlorophytum comosum) and money tree (Pachira aquatica) while growing flowers, especially when clivia and money tree are not cultivated properly, they develop yellow leaves and drop leaves. Today Shitou shares with everyone these three kinds of flowers: after yellow leaves appear, they need a "buzz cut" pruning, and then proper care, and they will grow dense green leaves. So today the topic Shitou shares is:
3 kinds of flowers develop yellow leaves, give them a "chop", new shoots grow in 30 days, and they are even more "vigorous" than before
Clivia
When clivia develops yellow leaves, it is mainly due to poor ventilation in the growing environment, poor light conditions, root rot, scorched leaves and other factors. Generally, after finding yellow leaves on clivia, first check whether the root system has disease. If the roots have rotted, you need to dig the plant out of the pot, prune and disinfect it, and then repot it.
If it is only ordinary yellowing of the plant's leaves, such as after most leaves turn yellow or are scorched, since the whole plant has almost no ornamental value, cut off all the leaves above the soil surface, which is directly giving the clivia a "buzz cut". Then spray the cut surfaces with a carbendazim water solution or apply potassium permanganate for disinfection. You can also apply plant ash for disinfection. Then place the pot in a cool, ventilated indoor place for care, and just keep the soil moist. When watering, do not let water fall on the cuts, otherwise it will infect them with pathogens and cause rot. Generally after about two weeks of care, you will see the clivia send out small shoots again. Later, depending on your own conditions, you can divide and care for the offsets or grow it into a clustered clivia.
Spider plant
Spider plant is a very common household potted plant. Because its leaves are beautiful and the plant is easy to grow and easy to propagate, it is loved by many flower lovers. Although it is a very easy-to-grow potted flower, it still easily develops yellow leaves during cultivation. The causes of yellow leaves in spider plant are generally factors such as too strong light, long-term shade, insufficient fertilization and dry soil.
If you find that the leaves of the spider plant have large areas of yellowing, drying up or lodging, you can directly use a knife to cut it off above the soil surface, leaving only the roots below the soil surface, so that the spider plant sprouts again and grows green leaves. Remember not to expose it to strong sunlight, otherwise the plant will die. Generally with normal care, you can see the spider plant send out new shoots again in one week. In the subsequent cultivation process, you need to apply nitrogen fertilizer to the spider plant once a month, water normally, and place it in a spot with scattered sunlight.
Money tree
Many flower lovers like to keep a pot of money tree in their living room, as it is both attractive and has a good meaning. But in the process of growing money tree, leaf drop and yellow leaves often occur, especially in summer and winter, because too strong light, poor ventilation in the plant's growing environment and overwatering cause large areas of yellow leaves on the money tree.
So after the money tree develops yellow leaves, you can prune the plant, that is, cut off all the yellow leaves and diseased branches, then move the money tree to a well-ventilated place with scattered light for normal care, and in about two weeks you can see the money tree send out new shoots. In the later cultivation process, you need to spray the money tree with monopotassium phosphate foliar fertilizer once every two weeks, so the plant's leaves grow greener and stronger. The money tree likes to grow in dry, breathable soil, so do not let water accumulate in the pot, otherwise it will easily cause root rot and yellow leaves.
In the daily process of growing flowers, it is very normal for flowers to develop yellow leaves and rot, so everyone should have a good mindset. Do not think this kind of flower is difficult to grow just because one or two pots die. In fact, growing flowers is a process of accumulating and summing up experience. Only by constantly learning and improving will you grow your potted plants better and better. Shitou also hopes everyone can grow their potted plants better and better.
