Irises make a stunning appearance at Zhang Xinyu's wedding, hinting at next season's color trends

Over the past few days, everyone has been talking about Zhang Xinyu and He Jie's wedding. Paeonia isn't familiar with either of them and isn't in a position to comment, but was genuinely drawn in by the color palette and floral design of the wedding.
Unfortunately, this wedding was held very low-key, with almost no exposure, so Paeonia had no way to dig into the details.
It was only in the last couple of days that photos of the wedding venue were slowly released, and Paeonia can finally lead everyone to lift the veil of mystery on this wedding...

The irises at the wedding
On August 27, the much-debated Zhang Xinyu finally found her happiness, holding her wedding with He Jie, who comes from a military background, in Shanghai.
Many media outlets waited anxiously outside the hotel, hoping to get into the venue, but were politely turned away by staff. (Still, the staff thoughtfully handed out wedding cakes to the reporters~)

Zhang Xinyu's wedding was the same, with only just over 20 guests invited, including family, friends and staff, to personally witness the couple's happiest moment.

Although the wedding stayed low-key, the romantic atmosphere at the venue was absolutely not to be skimped on. When Paeonia saw the photos of the wedding venue, she was still dazzled.
The overall palettefresh and elegant blue and whiteas the main tone,
pure white irisescovering every corner,
from the wedding cake to the table floral designs,
spreading from the walls to the ceiling,
full of a dreamy fairy-tale feeling.
On the fresh gray-blue walls,
handmade white irises were attached one by one,
romantic yet not lacking an artistic touch.
This scene reminded Paeonia of the artist Rachel Dein,
who sealed the flowers from her own wedding into plaster,
like a three-dimensional 3D oil painting,
and as solemn as ancient fossils.
Back to the wedding venue,
pure white ceramics and bold plaster figures,
it was as if you had stepped into a classical studio,
setting off the irises' free and soaring spirit.
On the pale blue wedding cake,
irises perched like lively butterflies,
the intricate patterns were dazzling.
The star of the table flowers was also the iris,
paired with white roses, dahlias and corn poppies in the same color family,
hazy sheer fabric, exquisite tableware,
quietly enjoying a feast of flowers.
Hollow-out decorations hung from the ceiling,
several beams of light poured down onto the dining table,
as if you had stumbled into a secret garden.
We've seen the vast majority of weddings decorated with roses, lilies, tulips and so on. These flowers are brightly colored with intricate blooms, making it easy to create a romantic and lively atmosphere.
But the designers from Weddingism were very bold, using irises as the wedding theme.
Their aloof, soaring petals have a somewhat unruly artistic feel, and white irises in particular carry an air of standing apart from the world.
The iris genus has more than 300 different species,
a huge number that makes them hard to distinguish.
(We've written before about the different varieties of iris,
because their shape closely resembles a butterfly about to take flight,
and their color is mostly a rich blue-purple,
so people gave them the nickname"purple butterfly."。
Many people see them as delicate and fragile,
and thus assume they represent soft, feminine beauty.
In fact, the iris's flower language is bravery and fidelity,
with petals and leaves shaped like sharp swords and shields,
stubbornly fighting against wind, frost and bitter cold.
Looking back at all the criticism Zhang Xinyu has faced,
perhaps she is also like this iris,
outwardly a delicate girl,
but in fact she has long forged a powerful inner strength.
This wedding not only chose irises with great originality,
but also boldly usedhaze blue,
with very low saturation, exuding a sense of sophistication at its core,
paired with white to create a fresh, natural Mediterranean style.
Weddings are used to romantic pink palettes,
but this cool blue is very elegant,
giving a refreshing, eye-catching feeling,
and I believe it will soon become next season's trend.
The haze blue at the wedding is certainly beautiful, but without a certain skill in color coordination, it can easily become cold or gloomy, and that's not what wedding guests want to see~
Blue + green
If you want to pair haze blue well,
try to choose colors with equally low saturation.
Besides the ever-reliable blue-and-white CP,
blue and greenalso make a brilliant pairing.
Many outdoor weddings are held on lawns,
with blue sheer drapes fluttering over the green grass,
beautiful and fresh.
The blue hydrangeas often used in bouquets,
with a few green leaves casually added,
make for a relaxed and beautiful natural style.
A pure white tablecloth,
wild-style green leaf table flowers,
blue wine glasses and napkins,
the light colors paired together are very pleasing to the eye.
Blue + gray
Besides the blue-green CP,
blue and grayare also versatile good friends,
choose a low-saturation Morandi color palette,
and you can easily achieve a sophisticated look.
The groom wears a gray suit,
paired with a blue tie and boutonniere,
walking handsomely toward the bride.
A white cake base drizzled with diluted black sugar syrup,
forming delicate yet cool marble patterns,
such a beautiful cake, you simply can't bear to eat it!
Blue + gold
If you think blue is a bit dark and dull,
you can use a touch ofgoldto brighten it up,
giving a refined (very expensive) feeling.
A glittering hotel lobby can easily look tacky,
blue tablecloths and white flowers
can dilute some of the formality and add some romance.
At a wedding banquet, beautiful plates alone are not enough,
a set of exquisite gold tableware
gives guests a royal, aristocratic dining experience.
A pale blue invitation is too cold,
decorated with gold ribbon,
it also appears more grand and formal.
Blue with green, blue with gray, blue with gold, which one do you like best?
After seeing so many beautiful, romantic wedding venues, surely many girls wish they could get married right away, so they could legitimately hold a fairy-tale wedding~
There's a saying that goes well,
every angel loves beauty.
Paeonia wants to tell every flower fan,
you don't have to pursue a lavish wedding,
You don't even have to wait desperately for Prince Charming,
as long as you're willing,
you can put on a white veil anytime, anywhere,
and be the little princess of your own world~
