How can you save time and effort when growing flowers? Smart flower growers all do this

The Complete Guide to Home Flower Growing
Teacher Xiao Ye teaches you all kinds of flower-growing knowledge!
Growing flowers looks simple, but it is hard to do. To make flowers grow vigorously, flower growers often have to spend a great deal of effort on management, such as moving them, earthing up, weeding, catching pests, fertilizing, and so on. On weekends, you just want to lie around at home or go out and have fun, yet you still have to fuss over the plants and flowers until you are exhausted. What is even more tiring is that sometimes the flowers do not appreciate it: every now and then they droop their leaves, develop spots, or wilt entirely, and may even "go on strike"...
Today, Teacher Xiao Ye is going to share a few super practical "lazy" tricks for growing flowers. Hurry up and grab a little stool and take a look!
Lazy watering
What should you do when no one is home or you do not want to water every day? You can fill a plastic bag with rice-washing water or tap water that has been left to stand for more than 24 hours, prick a small hole in the bottom of the bag with a needle, and place it in the flowerpot near the roots of the flowers, with the small hole against the plant's root crown; the water will then slowly seep out and moisten the soil. The size of the hole needs to be controlled well so that the water does not seep out too quickly.
Clever pest control
When pests appear on flowers, you might try soapy water or laundry detergent water, which can control many common small flying insects and red spiders, among others.
Specific method:
Dissolve a small piece of soap or one tablespoon of laundry detergent in cooled boiled water or tap water that has been left to stand, at a concentration of about 1%, and spray it in the early morning or evening for three consecutive days, once a day; you will soon see the insects die.
Sand cuttings
Specific method:
When taking cuttings, root rot often occurs. Using sand for cuttings is simple and roots form quickly. Specific method: take healthy and vigorous cuttings and remove the lower leaves. Wash the sand clean, put it in a pot, then insert the cuttings into the sand and water thoroughly. Place the potted cuttings in a cool, ventilated place, keep the medium moist, and they will soon take root and sprout.
Fertilizing with microbial agents
Some flower growers make their own flower fertilizer. Although it saves cost, it is also time-consuming and laborious, and if one step is not done well, it may only be counterproductive, causing burns to plant roots and, in serious cases, even leading to the death of the flowers. Therefore, homemade fertilizer should refer to formal and professional books and tutorials, and be chosen with caution.
Microbial agents refer to products of specific living microorganisms that, through the life activities of the microorganisms they contain, increase the supply of plant nutrients or promote plant growth, and improve plant quality and the ecological environment. They can provide or activate soil nutrients, produce active substances that promote flower growth such as gibberellin, indoleacetic acid, cytokinin, and so on, prolong the flowering period, inhibit the occurrence of flower pests and diseases, improve the stress resistance of flowers, and are safe and pollution-free. As long as we regularly apply a certain amount of microbial agents to flowerpots, we can sit back and watch "flowers bloom and flourish."
