Introduction

Green plants and potted flowers are essential decorative elements of home life. Keeping some flowers and plants at home has many benefits: it beautifies the room and lifts your mood. "Flower Sound Potted Plant Diary · Issue 1264" introduces a very worthwhile climbing flowering plant to grow.

Today's featured plant

Climbing plants cannot stand upright and grow by climbing. Wherever they climb, flowers bloom there, and they can be trained into flower walls, flower columns, flower arches and more, making them excellent vertical landscaping material. The climbing plant introduced today is called Fenda; it is beautiful and fragrant. Let's learn about it together.

Fenda

Fenda, full name Pink Leonardo da Vinci, is a small climbing rose bred by the French Meilland horticultural company. It reaches a height of 150 cm and a width of up to 2 m, and bears deep pink flowers with a particularly cupped flower form and a flower diameter of 14 cm. It closely resembles the famous Pink Eden rose and has high ornamental value.

Long blooming period

Pink Eden is beautiful, but unfortunately it blooms only for one season. Fenda, by contrast, is a repeat bloomer, flowering in all four seasons, with the heaviest bloom in spring and autumn. The flower quantity is enormous and can cover entire branches, looking extremely beautiful when in full bloom; the flowers also carry a faint fruity fragrance, so while enjoying the flowers, waves of floral scent greet your nose and delight body and mind.

It can also be grown in pots

Pink Eden is a large climbing rose and can only be planted in the ground, not grown in pots on a balcony for ornament. Fenda, however, is a small climbing rose and can absolutely be grown in pots. Just pay more attention to pruning; it can even be grown in a small flowerpot. Care is relatively easy and growth is fairly fast, so even beginners can grow it very well.

It can give you a sea of flowers

Among climbing flowering plants, representatives include clematis, mandevilla and bougainvillea. Clematis has a short blooming period and is difficult to get through summer, while mandevilla and bougainvillea fear the cold and cannot be grown in the north. Fenda is cold-tolerant and heat-resistant, and can be planted in both the south and the north. Its blooming period is extremely long. Keep one at home, and it can give you back a sea of flowers; it is very worth buying.
