Just about every household has a toilet installed, and the toilet has gradually become an indispensable item in our daily human lives.

I wonder if anyone has noticed that there's a round button on top of the toilet when using it, and this button comes in a large and a small one. In the past, Huahua didn't know why there were two buttons, and only recently learned that these two buttons actually have different functions!

Huahua was worried that everyone might have been using their toilets for a long time without knowing the correct way to use these two buttons, so I hurried over to share it with you all.

It turns out that these two buttons, one large and one small, are actually designed for our different toilet needs - the large button gives a strong flush, and the small button gives a weak flush. Does that make it clearer for everyone?

So when we use the toilet, we should choose the large or small button according to our own situation. If the buttons are used incorrectly, the most direct result is wasting water resources. With water resources so scarce nowadays, everyone should save whatever they can - by all means don't waste it.

Friends who are currently renovating or shopping for a toilet should take note: not all toilets on the market have two buttons. Some toilets have only one button, and this kind of toilet has only one flush volume, which very likely leads to wasting water resources.

In everyday use, toilets always run into all sorts of problems, big and small. Today Huahua will talk about them for everyone.

1. The flush toilet won't flush or the flush volume isn't enough

At this point, first check whether the drain pipe and the holes around the edge of the bowl are blocked. If so, just clean them out in time.

If not, check whether the water volume in the toilet tank is insufficient. We can bend the float arm upward a little to raise the water level in the tank.

Another possibility is that there's a leak at the joint between the tank and the bowl. In this case, we can tighten the nut on the overflow tube.

2. The tank makes a noise when flushing

This situation is generally caused by a problem with the operation of the float valve inside the toilet. We can replace the washer or install a new float valve. If it's not a float valve problem, then it should be caused by poor water flow in the supply pipe. In this case, check whether the water valve is fully open.

3. The water in the toilet tank keeps flowing into the bowl

When a toilet has this problem, it's generally the fill valve that's faulty. When this happens, you can replace the fill valve or simply reassemble it.

Now that I've explained the two buttons on the toilet today, does everyone understand? Lastly, I hope everyone can choose a toilet according to their needs and save water resources - it's everyone's responsibility!
