Soybeans are the most common food in daily life, and they are rich in nutrients such as protein, fat, calcium, phosphorus, iron and various vitamins. With a little processing, soybeans can also be used as flower fertilizer, and the effect is first-rate.

How to process them

Boil the soybeans, let them cool thoroughly, then put them with the water into an airtight container. You can also add some rice-washing water and mix it all together to ferment; it will be ready in about 10 to 20 days.

Dilute it with water at a ratio of 1:10, then use it to care for your snake plant. During the peak growing season, water it once every 10 days. This supplies enough nutrients, keeps the leaves emerald green and firm, makes them grow nonstop, and makes the roots stronger so they do not rot and keep sending up side shoots.

Besides using this water to care for your snake plant, you can also bury boiled soybeans in the soil, 3 to 5 beans each time, once a month, but keep them some distance from the roots to avoid burning them.

Besides soybean water, you can also use aquarium water and rainwater instead of tap water to care for your snake plant.

Aquarium water contains a lot of fish waste, so it is very rich in nutrients, but it needs to settle for a few days before use, otherwise it is easy for the concentration to be too high and damage the roots.

Rainwater, on the other hand, can be collected and used right away, because it is acidic and contains many trace elements. It also supplements nutrients with no side effects at all, and works really well as a replacement for tap water.
