The spring of succulents has arrived, and you still do not know how to care for them! Yatou has been worrying herself sick over you too, so take a look at this care guide, and start raising succulents from the basics!

1. Light

Just as autumn begins, do not be too hasty. The early autumn sun is still very strong, so it is recommended not to put the succulents directly on the balcony for full-sun care! Take it step by step. You can let them receive sunlight in the morning and evening, provide proper shade at noon, and gradually move to full-sun care.

2. Watering

Based on the air humidity in your home, water about once every 2 weeks, and do not water too frequently. Even more, avoid watering too much on cloudy days, so as to prevent leggy growth. After watering, make sure there is good ventilation, and do not let it get too stuffy.

3. Fertilizing

In autumn, most succulents enter their peak growing season. At this time, you can choose liquid fertilizer and apply it in small amounts. Or bury a few granules of slow-release fertilizer in the soil away from the roots.

4. Clean up dead leaves

In summer, some of the lower leaves of succulents fall off, and some drop due to black rot. If you have not cleaned them up, do so promptly to reduce the breeding of pests and diseases! And sprinkle pesticide on the soil surface to prevent insects.
