To grow orchids, first grow the roots: bury these 3 things in the pot, and the radish-like roots will come bursting out and fill the pot

As living standards keep rising, more and more people enjoy growing some flowers and plants at home to decorate their homes and green their environment, and spider plants, clivias and orchids are common plants in daily life, as well as particular favourites among flower lovers.
Today Hua'er will tell you: those of you growing these "3 Lanes" (spider plant, clivia, orchid) can toss a bit of "it" into the pot, and radish-like roots will come bursting out, with big leaves, brilliant flowers, and a pot overflowing with growth!
The "it" mentioned here is crushed bone. Bones are rich in elements such as phosphorus and potassium; for fleshy roots like those of spider plants, clivias and orchids, nutrients can be absorbed quickly, promoting root growth and thickening, which in turn makes the leaves bigger, fatter and more emerald green, and the flowers larger and more vivid.
The specific method: don't throw away the bones left over from meals at home; chicken, duck and fish bones can all be collected. First soak them in boiling water 2-3 times to wash off the salt, then put them in a pressure cooker and simmer for about 1 hour so the bone and meat separate more easily.
Then put the bones out in the sun to dry, and you can crush them with a hammer, or simply grind them with a bone crusher; once completely dry, they are ready to use.
Dig a few small holes around the edge of the flower pot, to a depth of 1/4-1/3 of the pot, and bury 2-3 spoonfuls of crushed bone in each hole. The crushed bone will ferment in the soil and release nutrients, so the roots can get plenty of nutrients.
When repotting, you can spread a layer of crushed bone directly at the bottom of the pot; it not only supplements nutrients but also improves aeration and drainage. For clivias, you can also mix in some plain roasted peanuts, sunflower seeds and other oil crops, so the roots grow like crazy, thick and big, the leaves become thick and glossy, and the flowers bloom vividly.
