Pingtung Agricultural Products Head to Kaohsiung, "Holiday Farmers' Market" Draws Crowds

Pingtung small farmers held a holiday farmers' market at the Dream Mall Happy Plaza in Kaohsiung on the 1st and 2nd, from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., offering fresh milk, rice cakes, cacao, honey, guava, lemon and other assorted agricultural specialty products. The rich array of agricultural specialties caught the eye, and the farmers' warm hospitality drew even more people to stop and stroll through the market.

The Pingtung County Agriculture Department stated that Pingtung produces seasonal agricultural products year-round, all fresh and delicious. Lemons, green and fragrant, work well in drinks or paired with dishes; red dragon fruit is sweet and tasty with high nutritional value; pineapple and mango are past their fresh fruit season, but farmers have also made dried fruit and other related processed products that preserve the sweetness and aroma of the fruit. Just hearing that the place of origin is Pingtung means delicious and superior quality, and the image of Pingtung's local agricultural product brand has gradually been established in various places.

This sales event featured a total of 15 stalls, including agricultural products with Four Labels and One Q certification for the public to purchase. This time the small farmers also came up with inventive special blended juice recipes, combining red dragon fruit with guava for a fresh-tasting mixed drink; paired with rice cake and assorted dried fruits and cacao, it makes a perfect afternoon tea, suitable both for personal enjoyment and as a gift.
