Why shouldn't peonies be kept at home?
1. Inconvenient to grow
The peony's root system is complex, and as the branches and leaves grow larger, the roots grow larger too, so it needs a very large pot to provide enough living space. It has a great demand for nutrients, so the soil must be changed once every six months. Peonies like sun, and only with plenty of sunlight will the flowers bloom well. Given all these conditions it needs to survive, an ordinary household can hardly meet them, so peonies are not suitable to keep.
2. Energy field too strong
The peony's energy field is very powerful, and if kept at home without being able to harness it, it can easily bring unfavorable influences to the family. Besides actual plants, even items bearing peony patterns are unsuitable to place at home, such as embroidered patterns with peonies or ornaments with peony designs; none of these should be casually placed in the home.
