How to grow dahlias? A detailed guide to planting methods and tips
1. Prepare the soil
To plant dahlias, first choose soil with a uniform texture and good drainage as the growing tray. Note that the soil is best sterilized beforehand.
2. Sowing
Then sow the seeds, cover them with a thin layer of fine soil, and water thoroughly to keep the potting soil moist. Be careful to keep them at a suitable temperature and do not let them freeze. After about a week, sprouts will emerge. After germination, avoid direct sunlight.
3. Points to note
Dahlias are plants that love fertilizer, and their growth requires a sufficient supply of fertilizer. When this condition is not met, the flowers will be affected to a certain degree. They prefer a relatively cool climate environment, with around 10 to 25°C being ideal. Especially during hot summer weather, you can spray water around the area to help control the temperature.
