In summer and autumn there is plenty of rain, and because the temperature is also higher, we often see patches of lush green moss by the roadside or in damp places. These inconspicuous little things may not look like much, but some gardening enthusiasts dig some up and take them home, without spending a single pot's worth of money, and turn them into lots of beautiful potted plants!

Many gardening enthusiasts keep green plants at home such as pothos, spider plants and aloe, but these inconspicuous little mosses from the roadside, dug up and made into all kinds of lush green potted plants, placed in glass jars, can also be this beautiful!

For example, plant the moss casually in a flower pot, then plant a few small green plants such as mint, and a different kind of beauty will grow out.

Moss is not suited to being kept in dark places for long periods; it needs a semi-shaded environment and a certain amount of diffused light. It is especially intolerant of drought and dry environments, and most importantly it needs a moist environment to grow in.

Moss can be combined with all kinds of green plants, pretty stones, or various cute figurines, making it more ornamental than ordinary potted plants.

After planting the moss, you can often water it with fermented rice-washing water to keep it moist, which will also make the moss grow better.
