Succulents with 1 rubber band and 1 vegetable basket, grow roots like crazy with 100% survival rate

Autumn is here, and Huahua just wants to ask one thing: are your succulents doing okay? But no matter what, the hot weather has finally passed, and for those leaves you pulled off, or the succulents you beheaded, it's naturally time for them to grow roots! Hurry up and see how to make succulents grow roots fast!

Grab a rubber band - water propagation makes roots grow!

If the beheaded succulents at home are slow to grow roots when stuck in soil, you can try Huahua's method. You only need 1 rubber band to make succulents grow roots quickly!

1. Prepare a disposable paper cup, fill it with about 1/2 clean water, then find a piece of plastic wrap, stretch the plastic wrap over the rim of the cup, and use 1 rubber band to secure the plastic wrap directly.

2. Use a small knife to cut a slit in the plastic wrap. Remember not to make it too big; just make sure the succulent's roots can reach down through it, but the whole succulent cannot fall into the cup.

3. Place the succulent on the rim of the cup, making sure the lower part of the succulent's roots does not touch the water surface, then put the disposable paper cup in a cool, ventilated place, and be careful not to expose it to direct sunlight.

4. It only takes about 10 days for the succulent to sprout quite a few roots. At this point, transplant the rooted succulent into a flower pot and care for it slowly!

1 vegetable washing basket - vermiculite rooting method!

Every time you go to great trouble for leaf propagation, but it just won't grow roots, what should you do? Why not try propagating in a vegetable basket! The rooting rate is 99%!

1. Find an unused vegetable basket at home and clean it thoroughly. It's best to use one with small holes to prevent soil from leaking out badly, then prepare peat soil, coconut coir, and vermiculite.

2. Mix the peat soil and coconut coir into a loose, breathable soil, fill the vegetable basket to eight-tenths full, then spread a thick layer of vermiculite on the top layer.

3. Let the wounds of the succulent leaves you need to propagate dry, place them flat on the vermiculite, then put the vegetable basket in a shallow tray filled with water. Normally, when you see the water level in the tray drop, add water. Do not water directly on the surface of the pot.

4. Put the vegetable basket and shallow tray together in a place with good scattered light. The water in the shallow tray evaporates into water vapor, which can keep the propagation soil sufficiently moist at all times. Moreover, because the vegetable basket has holes, there is no fear of black rot at all. Basically, it only takes 10-15 days to grow roots!

1 plastic bottle - river sand rooting method

Huahua will teach everyone another method, which is to use a plastic bottle from home to grow roots. The rooting rate is just as good as with the vegetable basket!

1. First prepare the needed materials: 1 plastic bottle, peat soil, clay pebbles, and river sand.

2. Spread a layer of clay pebbles on the bottom of the container, about 2cm thick is enough, then take a plastic bottle, cut off the bottom, and insert it vertically into the container.

3. Spread peat soil on top of the clay pebbles, finally sprinkle a layer of river sand on the surface of the pot, and place the succulent leaves you need to propagate directly flat on the river sand.

4. Pour water into the plastic bottle. This not only keeps the soil slightly moist, but also avoids watering directly onto the pot surface, which could cause the succulent to rot and turn to mush.
