Pick one leaf of this wild herb and it stops bleeding; as a balcony pot plant it is both attractive and useful

In rural areas there is a wild herb famous for its ability to stop bleeding on contact; we call it bleeding-stop herb, its scientific name is Jianxueqing (Liparis nervosa), and it is also known as the "living band-aid." It is a medicinal green plant whose every part is treasured.
Jianxueqing is generally distributed mainly in the damp mountain slopes of Southwest China, Jiangxi, Hunan, Fujian, Guangdong and other regions. The whole plant can be used as medicine, with the effects of cooling the blood and stopping bleeding, and clearing heat and detoxifying. It is effective for bruises and injuries, surgical bleeding, wound bleeding and more.
On our balconies we usually grow flowers or vegetables, but actually digging up a few wild herbs and planting them also makes an attractive potted plant. Especially a green plant like Jianxueqing: grow it at home and it can be used at any time like a band-aid.
Jianxueqing, like ordinary wild herbs, grows in the wild and has robust habits, tolerating poor soil, and of course it can also be grown as a potted plant at home. This plant has a strong ability to adapt to its environment; it likes a cool, moist environment. Normally water it by letting the soil dry between waterings, keeping the potting soil mainly slightly moist.
Of course, when we grow the medicinal herb Jianxueqing as a potted plant at home, it is mainly for appreciation. If you accidentally get a cut while cooking, you can also use it to stop the bleeding, like a "living band-aid," convenient and practical.
Look at its leaves; they are actually a bit like the leaves of lucky bamboo, though shorter and larger than lucky bamboo leaves. If grown purely for ornamental purposes, its glossy green is also very pleasing to look at.
