Growing Nuphar at home has many benefits; neighbors envy both its flowers and its foliage

Nuphar is an aquatic flower that generally blooms in spring and summer with excellent ornamental value. Its yellow flowers look very beautiful, and it is especially easy to care for without needing much expertise; as long as we tend to it carefully, it can achieve very good ornamental value, and it actually belongs to the water lily family.
Most plants can be used as medicinal herbs, and Nuphar is actually this kind of plant too. As a medicinal herb, it has the effect of strengthening the spleen and stimulating the appetite. And Nuphar, when grown in water, can actually purify the water body as well.
The roots and stems of Nuphar are relatively thick and sturdy. The flowers are generally golden yellow, and the center of the flower is red. Not only can it. Although its name is "grass," it can both bloom and bear fruit. Its fruit generally ripens in August and September. Nuphar prefers to grow in a warm and humid environment. It has no great demands on soil, and it can tolerate low temperatures.
The temperature of their growing environment is very important for plant growth, and it is also very important for the growth and development of Nuphar. During its seedling stage, the most suitable temperature is around 20 degrees, and generally if the summer temperature is too high, it will stop growing normally. Nuphar has no special requirements for lighting conditions; just maintain normal light, but be sure not to place it in a spot with no light at all. Nuphar does not have high demands on soil, but we still need to choose the most suitable soil for it, because only with fertile soil can it grow better and bloom, and the flowers it produces will also be more vivid and the flowering period longer. This is the effect we want most.
The pot for Nuphar is not one of those small pots. Many of us use vats to plant it, because it is an aquatic plant, so when planting, choose a vat or a pond, and it is best to choose one with a height of 65 cm, and the inner diameter should preferably be relatively large as well. Only with enough growing space can it grow better.
Many people grow Nuphar in their courtyards for landscaping, and it looks extremely beautiful paired with water lilies and lotus, with very high ornamental value. In fact, some people also keep it as an aquatic plant in fish tanks. Nuphar actually comes in many varieties, so its leaves have many shapes and its colors are also varied, all very distinctive. One of the varieties is Taiwan, China Nuphar, which blooms all year round and would certainly be very nice to keep at home.
Among aquatic plants, what we may be more familiar with are the various varieties of lotus, but Nuphar is actually a good aquatic plant too, very distinctive, and even more suitable for growing at home.
