How to water roses during autumn drought so the leaves stay tender green and delicate

After the start of autumn, the climate has become cooler, but the weather is getting drier and drier. For roses, a plant that loves heavy feeding and heavy watering, this ushers in another tough period. Fortunately, we can supplement water for roses artificially, so that during the autumn drought they can still have tender green leaves and delicate flowers.
Just what magical water have the roses been drinking to make the leaves so tender green and the flowers so delicate? Let's take a look together:
Roses love soybean mash
We all know that in rural areas, people use plants such as wheat straw, rice straw, poultry and livestock manure and so on to ferment organic fertilizer. Using this kind of organic fertilizer not only is ecologically safe, but also has excellent effects on plant growth, flowering and fruiting. But urban conditions are limited, so we can use other plant-based water instead. For example, we can boil soybeans until soft, then mash them, then put them into a bottle or a sealed container. The ratio of water to beans is 3:1. At the same time, do not fill the bottle too full, because heat is easily generated during fermentation. Ferment for about one month or so and it is ready. After taking it out, dilute with water about 50-100 times before use, which is better.
Of course, making organic fertilizer yourself requires time and patience, and you also have to put up with the bad smell when opening it if fermentation is incomplete. If urban gardening friends find it troublesome, they can use an ecologically safe organic nutrient solution, purely fermented from plant sugarcane stalks, rich in nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, with various organic matters and humic acid added, promoting rose growth and flowering at the same time. Generally, dilute with water about 500 times before use.
Roses love to drink alcohol
This is a little secret that gardening friends discovered by accident. Gardening friends who love drinking sometimes, after drinking beer, casually pour a little into the rose pot, and at the same time rinse their mouth with water and then water the roses once more. Actually, this process is just diluting the beer, but at the same time the nutrients contained in the beer can also provide enough nutrients for the roses.
But after all, beer contains alcohol. To bring out the greatest effect of beer, the better way is to open the beer cap, put it in a relatively empty place, and let the alcohol evaporate on its own. Beer past its expiration date is even better for watering flowers, and you do not need to worry about any irritation. At the same time, dilute with water about 50 times before use, and use it about once every 15 days. This can very well ensure that the roses have luxuriant branches and leaves.
Roses love to drink fish-poop water
Gardening friends who grow flowers surely also like keeping fish. Fish poop, fish scales and fish skin flakes soaking in the water for a long time will certainly be bad for the fish's breathing, so either use a filter or change the water often. Well, this water is actually a treasure and can be used to grow roses. Just pour it out directly, then put it into a relatively large bucket, let it sit for about 1 day, and pour it directly onto the rose soil. Because the number of fish kept in a fish tank is limited after all, and there is relatively little fish poop and fish scales, there is no need to ferment it.
Roses love to drink turtle water
Roses are really amazing. What we usually dislike is actually good fertilizer for them. Although fish-tank water is good, fish are only average at producing poop. Turtles are different, so the water from keeping turtles should even less be poured away. Collect it in a bucket, keep it sealed as usual, and ferment for about 3-4 months, and you can harvest very good organic fertilizer.
For roses, which not only need nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer but also trace elements and amino acids, watering with turtle manure water is of course also a very economical and affordable choice.
