Several vegetables best suited for balcony growing: plant once and harvest for a year, and they regrow after picking

When growing vegetables on a balcony, we should choose the kind of vegetables that "cannot be burned away by wildfire, and grow again when the spring wind blows," so that we don't end up with "the flowers all withered" and still nothing to eat. But by the way, friends who grow vegetables on balconies, besides chives, which can be cut again and again and keep growing, what other vegetables do you know? Well, the following kinds, which keep growing after being cut, can be eaten for a year from just one planting!
1. Water spinach
Water spinach, commonly known as "vine vegetable," grows very vigorously. After the tender shoots on top are picked and eaten, new ones quickly grow again. So water spinach is perfect for growing on a balcony, and you are always eating the most tender part. Water spinach is also very easy to grow; a cut stem stuck into soil will take root and live. However, it is recommended to use a larger vegetable-growing pot, because it grows so fast that a small one may not hold it.
2. Chinese kale
Chinese kale is similar to water spinach; it is also the kind that keeps growing after the stems are cut off. However, Chinese kale grows a little more slowly, but its texture is very crisp, and personally I think it is as delicious as water spinach.
3. Pea shoots
Pea shoots need no explanation; they keep growing after being picked, and it can be said that the more you pick them, the stronger and faster they grow. You can also grow pea sprouts at home in water now; they come up in a few days and are very easy to grow.
In fact, there are also some vegetables grown for their bolting shoots, such as red rapeseed shoots and bok choy shoots, as well as garland chrysanthemum and Malabar spinach, and several other kinds that can all grow again after being eaten!
