1. Relieving stunted growth in plants
Many flower growers surely know about this effect. For those who keep clivia (Clivia miniata) at home, if the clivia is usually cared for improperly due to low temperatures, excessive moisture, or improper water control, its growth can easily stop, producing only new leaves and no new shoots. At this point, we can use baijiu! Mix baijiu and clean water at a ratio of 1:5, slowly pour it into the clivia pot, and in just one week, the stunted growth will disappear!
2. Insecticidal effect
Baijiu can also have an insecticidal effect on plants. If plants at home are infested with aphids, scale insects, etc., we can use baijiu. First dilute it about three times, then use a cotton swab dipped in a little of the baijiu solution to apply to the spots where the insects are. Within a few days, the insects will all disappear!
3. Disinfection and sterilization
Baijiu contains a large amount of ethanol, which can have a sterilizing effect on plants. There have been cases in the past of using baijiu to sterilize and eliminate viruses, so we can also use baijiu to sterilize and disinfect plants! In the process of growing flowers, it is unavoidable to repot and prune plants, and when we need to sterilize and disinfect the soil or branches and leaves of plants, we can use baijiu! Dilute it five times, then apply it to the wound, and it will have a disinfecting effect!
4. Promoting flowering in plants
Since baijiu is brewed from grain, it is a highly nourishing substance for plants, containing a large amount of trace elements. Moreover, when baijiu is poured into plants, it breaks down into a large amount of acetic acid, which can strongly promote plant growth! Wrong ways to use baijiu:

2. Pouring food that fell into the baijiu during a meal into plants as well; after the food decomposes, it will cause root rot in the plants!
