Former South Korean President Park Geun-hye, 66, sentenced to 25 years and impeached from office: what were the deeper reasons?

On August 24, the second-instance verdict in South Korea's "confidante influence-peddling" case was held at the Seoul High Court. The court sentenced 66-year-old former South Korean President Park Geun-hye to 25 years in prison and a fine of 20 billion won.
What were the deeper political reasons behind Park Geun-hye's impeachment, removal from office and heavy sentence?
1. Diplomacy:
Her friendliness toward China early in her term harmed the interests of the big shot behind her, the United States. In particular, Park Geun-hye, as one of the few foreign heads of state to attend the September 3 military parade, was chatting and laughing on the reviewing stand, which stunned and greatly angered the troublemaking North Korea and Uncle Sam on the eastern shore of the Pacific.
2. Friendly ties with North Korea
Park Geun-hye was relatively friendly toward North Korea early on and took the initiative to reduce hostility, but North Korea did not appreciate it and still held military exercises every few days, which left the domestic public without a sense of security and led them to question her policies and ability.
3. Suppressing political opponents
After Park took office, she suppressed political opponents and even used the Constitutional Court to dissolve an opposition party, forcing the opposition to fight with its back to the wall to survive. The suppression within the party caused the ruling party to split. As a result, when her public approval rating fell, she was abandoned by those close to her, and in the end it was like a tree falling and the monkeys scattering.
4. Choi Soon-sil, the terrible teammate
Choi Soon-sil was only the fuse. The story behind this definitely had a pair of big hands carefully planning it. Offending the big brother comes at no small cost, and THAAD was something the big brother was determined to deploy.
In particular, Park Geun-hye's pro-China gestures enraged the United States. A "middle-of-the-road" government is disadvantageous to the United States in many ways; the United States needs a right-wing government and needs full control over South Korea.
I hope this pro-China president receives protection!
