Rose planted in a pickling jar picked up by the roadside, only 30 cm tall and it bloomed 10 flowers

Flower pots are an essential tool for growing flowers. The flower pots we usually use are all bought from the market, and they cost quite a bit of money. In fact, in our daily lives, there are many pots, jars and containers that can replace flower pots, and some things are even more useful than flower pots! A while ago, I was still wondering where to put my new rose seedlings. By chance, I saw several pickling jars used for making pickles by the roadside. So I had an idea and thought I would take these pickling jars home first and grow them in there for now. Who knew that some of the things that happened later would really open my eyes! I used these pickling jars as flower pots to grow roses, and unexpectedly, when the rose plant was still tiny, it bloomed, and amazingly, it produced 10 flowers. This really caught me off guard!
At the very beginning, I did not intend to keep growing the new rose seedlings in these pickling jars all along. I only treated it as a transitional period, planning to repot once the flower pots I bought arrived. But then I found that the roses were growing very well in these pickling jars, so I did not transplant them out, wanting to see whether this kind of pickling jar was really so good for growing flowers!
When I brought the pickling jars back, there was still some pickle water inside. I thought to myself that this pickle water should be a plant extract and should not be harmful, so I directly added potting soil into these pickling jars without cleaning them. After the potting soil was put in, I made a small hole in the bottom of each pickling jar with a tool, and immediately a lot of foul-smelling liquid flowed out, with a sour, stinky odor.
Without worrying too much, I planted the rose in it myself. After only about three days, the rose's transplant recovery period had passed, the leaves started looking very vigorous, and new buds began to grow. It was really amazing. Normally, when I repot with flower pots, it takes at least more than five days to get through the recovery period. Could this mean that this kind of pickling jar is very suitable for growing flowers?
What surprised me even more was still to come. After growing for one month, this new rose seedling, when it was only a little tall, at most around 30-odd cm, actually grew flower branches and flower buds, and it grew 10 of them at once. This stunned me. What a wonder, a new rose seedling that had only been transplanted for one month actually grew flower buds! As I expected, these flower buds all began to slowly open one after another, very beautiful to look at, and the flower color was also relatively bright, with a quite good degree of fullness!
I think it should be the liquid in the pickling jars that played a role. This liquid should be a kind of plant extract, belonging to a type of plant nutrient solution, and it is also acidic. This exactly matches the characteristics of roses. Roses are a southern flower and need an acidic environment to grow better. It seems that in the future I can collect more of these pickling jars. It turns out they are so useful for growing roses!
If you usually see this kind of pickling jar, remember to be sure to take it home! Maybe it can help you grow flowers better! If you think it is good, then like, save and follow. We update various little flower-growing tips every day, hoping to help everyone!
