How to grow Saxifraga stolonifera? Learn the correct cultivation methods

In a suitable environment, Saxifraga stolonifera stays evergreen all year round. It is a popular and easy-to-grow foliage plant for pots, mostly used for indoor greenery decoration. It can also be grown as a hanging potted plant, or used in bonsai arrangements, with very good results.
Light
It likes partial shade and fears strong light. It can be grown year-round indoors in a spot with scattered light. Moving it outdoors to a shaded, damp spot in spring and autumn gives even better results. Avoid direct sunlight.
Temperature
It is not tolerant of high temperatures and goes dormant in the hot summer and autumn seasons, resuming growth after autumn begins. A winter room temperature of around 8°C is enough for it to overwinter safely.
Humidity
It likes a high-humidity environment and is not tolerant of dryness. The peak growing season is from May to September, during which the potting soil should be kept moist at all times, and water should be sprayed frequently to raise the humidity of the surrounding environment.
Watering
In the hot season, place it in a cool, well-ventilated spot and control moisture. After growth resumes in autumn, watering needs to be increased.
Fertilizing
During the growing period, apply a dilute, fully rotted cake fertilizer or flower fertilizer once every 2 to 3 weeks. Fertilizer must be applied from below the leaves so as not to soil the leaf surface and affect growth.
