This green plant can make a living wall and climb up to the ceiling, growing faster than you can imagine

Today Huahua is going to talk about pothos (Epipremnum aureum). This plant is easy to grow and easy to keep alive, the top choice among indoor plants. Before you know it, it can grow like crazy, climb to the ceiling, make a living wall, and grow faster than you can imagine.
Some plant lovers may ask: is it because the pothos you grow at home is a different variety, the large type, while the ones we grow are basically ordinary green pothos, so they do not grow taller? The answer is no. Ordinary pothos can also climb walls, climb to the ceiling, and even grow into a waterfall. The key is what you give it to eat and drink.
Pothos has somewhat strong tastes
During the growing period, pothos needs relatively more nitrogen fertilizer, and the quality of the potting soil, its air permeability and drainage are the key factors determining the quality of the pothos root system. So today Huahua will introduce a strong-tasting pothos fertilizer, and that is orange peel water. You may say that orange peel really does have a pungent smell, so does pothos really like it?
The pungent smell of orange peel can drive away mosquitoes and insects. If you water pothos with orange peel water, the small insects and pests will all run away. So can you just soak it in water and get fertilizer nutrients? Of course not. You need to ferment it like making fertilizer: put the orange peel into a sealed bottle, add 3 times the amount of water, and ferment it for about 2 months. Although there will still be a smell, and even a stink, once fermentation is complete the smell is completely gone, and there will even be a faint fragrance. The fertilizer produced by fermentation is also slightly acidic. Generally, dilute it with about 20 times water and water the pothos with it.
Of course, although orange peel is good, the fertilizer produced by fermentation still has somewhat limited nutrients. In the short term it may not cause any problems, but it is best to add some fish scales during the fermentation process, and then about once a month add monopotassium phosphate diluted with about 1000 times water. This can very well ensure fertility, promote the plant to grow vigorously, and produce more new buds. At the same time, potassium fertilizer can improve the plant's resistance.
Pothos is quite a "drunkard"
Pothos loves to drink. This is already a widely recognized fact in the pothos world. So what kind of alcohol does pothos like, and how does it drink it?
Pothos likes expired beer, and it cannot be drunk directly; it must be diluted with water, generally about 30 times water, and absorbed through the roots. At the same time, pothos leaves also like to drink, but they should drink beer diluted with about 50 times water. If the concentration is too strong, the pothos will get drunk, ignore everything, and even forget to grow, which would be troublesome. Also remember that pothos likes to drink about once every 10 days or so. Do not think about pouring alcohol into it every day.
Pothos really likes high-quality things
Nowadays, people's living standards have improved, and they always like ecologically safe organic food. Pothos is the same, liking organic fertilizer. So do not use chemical fertilizers, hormones, or irritating fertilizers anymore. Organic fertilizer fermented from sugarcane bagasse is very effective, rich in nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, promoting the plant to grow vigorously, sprout more, with sturdy branches and glossy green leaves.
