Right now is the perfect time to grow this "flower"; with water it "grows like crazy", roots "quickly" and has green leaves!

As living standards gradually improve, more and more people enjoy growing flowers. Growing flowers not only beautifies the home, purifies the air and absorbs formaldehyde, but also cultivates the mind and character. Take the well-known pothos plant, for example; it is one of the top choices for people growing potted plants.

Pothos is a fairly common potted plant, and many flower lovers keep several pots at home. Its leaves stay green all year round, its vitality is quite tenacious, and it comes alive when it meets water, which is why people call it the "flower of life". The hot summer has just passed and cool autumn has arrived, so this is exactly the good season for caring for pothos; whether by cuttings or water culture, it is very suitable, rooting fast, sprouting fast, with an extremely high survival rate!

In fact, any flower lover who has cared for pothos with dedication knows that once pothos starts growing it grows full of vitality. Every time you see its emerald green leaves, you feel a power of growth, and instantly feel much more relaxed. Watching it change day by day, it grows especially fast with full vitality. But this is only other people's pothos. We all say that growing flowers depends on experience rather than luck, so you must have enough experience to care for it well.

Autumn is the best season for taking pothos cuttings; it is not prone to black stems, and they root as soon as they are planted. Also, autumn temperatures are relatively low and bacterial activity is low, so pothos is less likely to get infected. For pothos that did not grow well in summer, we can cut a section of pothos stem; as long as the cut stem has aerial roots on it, it does not even need leaves.

Then the best soil for the cuttings is leaf-mold sandy soil. Just insert the pothos stem with the aerial roots facing down directly into the soil!

Keep the soil moist for the planted pothos cuttings, then place them in a cool, ventilated spot. At the current temperature, in about 7-10 days they will be full of white roots, and in about 20 days they will grow new leaves! Of course, pothos cuttings also need plenty of sunlight!

After we finish planting the pothos cuttings, we can water the pothos with aspirin tablets or expired beer dissolved in water. Mix according to a ratio of aspirin/beer 1:10 (clean water), shake well, and water the pothos once every 7-10 days or so. This not only promotes fast rooting in pothos, but also makes its leaves so green they drip with oil, and quickly fills the pot!

Alright, that is all for today's sharing. Thank you for reading carefully. If you have better pothos care methods, you can share them with the editor!
