During yesterday's livestream, a fellow flower lover asked Chengcheng: which flowers are both beautiful and easy to care for, and also have a fairly long blooming period?

Actually, there are quite a lot of beautiful and easy-to-grow flowers, but when it comes to ones that are beautiful, easy to care for, and have a particularly long blooming period, it comes down to the following three kinds of flowers!

1. Moss rose (Portulaca grandiflora)

Moss rose, as the name suggests, loves sunlight very much. You could say that as long as it gets plenty of light, it can bloom almost every single day of the year! What's more, moss rose comes in fairly vivid colors, with red and yellow varieties, and it looks very beautiful!

Second, Chinese hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis)

Chinese hibiscus, which many people also call fusang flower! Chinese hibiscus has large blooms, vivid colors, and a long blooming period, and it's also very easy to care for. As long as we make sure it gets light and water it thoroughly once the soil dries out, it will generally keep blooming nonstop!

One thing to remind everyone of: Chinese hibiscus prefers slightly acidic soil. If you're growing it in northern regions, it's best to give it a bit of ferrous sulfate every month to supplement the soil's acidity, so it will grow even better!

Third, Madagascar periwinkle (Catharanthus roseus)

Madagascar periwinkle, which in some places is also called riri chun or changchun flower. Flower lovers who enjoy flowering plants will find the name alone quite tempting!

And Madagascar periwinkle truly lives up to its name. It blooms very diligently, and saying it can bloom 300 days a year is really no exaggeration at all! That's why many flower lovers call it the "model worker of the flower world"!

The three flowers above are all beautiful, easy to care for, and have particularly long blooming periods. Basically, without much effort in care, you can get them to bloom in dense clusters! You could say that if you like flowering plants, growing these is definitely the right choice!
