As people's living standards gradually improve and work pressure increases, more and more people like to grow flowers and plants, and succulents are also very popular among people, small and exquisite and beautiful, some succulent lovers start out simply liking them, until later they fall into the succulent pit and cannot extricate themselves, and the editor is one of them.

We all say that where there are ten people growing flowers, there are 10 little methods of growing flowers, and even for the same method, there are different ways of growing, and today the editor wants to share with everyone some little succulent care tips just learned in the past two days.

That is to use these "things" to grow succulents, the effect is extremely good, these things are the river sand, coal cinders and so on commonly seen in our countryside.

1. Growing succulents with river sand

River sand is a kind of natural stone, formed in the natural state through the force of water, repeated collision and friction over a long time, its composition is relatively complex, its surface has a certain smoothness, and it counts as a non-metallic ore with a relatively high content of impurities.

Whether by the side of a small stream or next to a construction site, it is relatively common, generally the sand at construction sites has been sun-dried and is relatively clean, while the sand in rivers or by small streams has a relatively high soil content, and needs to be washed with clean water before use.

But this kind of sand also needs to be sieved by us, filtering out the very small ones, the coarser sand we can use to mix with soil to grow bead succulents, the fine-grained sand we use to mix with soil for cuttings or for caring for succulent seedlings, the ratio is 6 parts soil, 4 parts river sand, if you directly use river sand to grow succulents there will be no nutrients!

2. Growing succulents with coal cinders

I think growing succulents with coal cinders is something many flower lovers have used, coal cinders are also the most practical kind of granular medium, can be used to improve the air permeability of the soil, but when we choose coal cinders we need to pay attention, choose the kind that is completely burned, and also need to use water to wash clean the sulfur-containing components in the coal cinders, those coal cinders that are still blackish are not recommended for use, the air permeability is not good.

We can mix the coal cinders with the succulent soil and use them together, and can also use them directly for top dressing, when potting up the succulents, spread a layer of soil, spread a layer of crushed coal cinders, keep spreading several layers like this, the coal cinders can also absorb water, when you water too much, you don't need to worry about the succulents having water accumulated in the pot and root rot, so using coal cinders to grow succulents is also a very good choice!

Alright, today's sharing is over, succulent lovers, do you have any better succulent care methods?
