The Kalanchoe has relatively high requirements for temperature. During its winter and spring blooming period, if the room temperature exceeds 24°C, it will inhibit the Kalanchoe from blooming; if the temperature is around 15°C, the Kalanchoe will bloom continuously. The Kalanchoe is relatively sensitive to photoperiod. You can give the Kalanchoe 8-9 hours of light per day, and after 3-4 weeks of treatment, flower buds will appear and it will bloom.

When the Kalanchoe is blooming, there are some care measures you can take: supplement nutrients; fertilizing should be done in the peak growth seasons of spring and autumn and after blooming, applying fertilizer 1 or 2 times a month is enough. Bone meal or potassium dihydrogen phosphate can be diluted into a solution and sprayed on the leaf surface to promote blooming. Pay attention to watering; when the soil 3~5 cm below the surface is dry, then carry out appropriate replenishment of water. With sufficient light, it needs at least 4 hours or more of direct light every day to grow robustly. Pay attention to pruning, to make the plant shape low and sturdy, and promote the development of more branches.
