How to Grow Aloe Vera? Detailed Guide to Planting Methods and Care Tips
1. Choosing Soil
When growing aloe vera, do not choose sandy soil; choose fertile soil suitable for growth. You can make your own mix using river sand, garden soil, and humus soil.
2. Choosing a Pot
A clay pot is best, as clay pots have good breathability; if you choose a plastic pot, it will cause root rot.
3. Planting Method
Put the soil in the pot and try to keep the soil loose. The roots of the aloe vera should ideally still have soil around them. Dig a hole in the middle of the soil, about 1 finger deep, put the aloe vera in, bury its roots with soil, pat the soil lightly, do not pat it too firmly, and then you can give it a small amount of water.
4. Precautions
Do not water too much, because aloe vera is relatively drought-tolerant, so watering about once every two or three days is enough; when watering, it is best to choose morning or evening.
