Aloe is easy to grow, has comprehensive benefits, can purify the air, and also has beauty benefits, making it a very popular potted plant. Below, we introduce the trick for getting aloe to grow into a full pot: learning to do cuttings, which lets one pot of aloe become many pots, done in just 4 simple steps!

Aloe cutting method:

Step 1:Select healthy, disease-free leaves. This step is very important. Generally choose vigorous leaves from the outermost part that are relatively robust and at least 8cm long, as this can improve the survival rate. When cutting them off, use a sterilized blade.

Step 2:Do not plant the cut leaves right away. First place them in a cool place to dry in the shade, with the temperature kept at around 25°C. Wait for a thin film to form on the cut surface, which takes about 1 week.

Step 3:Choose the potting soil. The flower pot needs drainage holes so that water does not accumulate. The soil medium needs to be loose and fertile; buying special soil directly from the market is also fine. Place a layer of tile pieces at the bottom of the pot to prevent the drainage holes from getting clogged and to help with drainage.

Step 4:Now you can do the cuttings. Insert the dried leaves into the soil at least 3cm, keep the leaves upright, water lightly, and place them in a cool spot for care. In about one month they will root and sprout.
