Throw 3-4 of these into the snake plant pot, and the offsets grow like crazy, as tough as steel drills

When it comes to snake plants, I believe gardening friends are all familiar with them. Snake plants are mainly foliage plants, with slender and graceful leaves. Many people keep 1-2 pots at home, and they can also purify the air. Whether your home has Chinese-style decor, minimalist or European-style decor, they are all very suitable. Snake plants really are potted plants that look good anywhere you put them. But recently, Xiaohua received many messages from gardening friends saying that the snake plants they grow are growing too slowly, and since they bought them, they have always had just those few leaves, and they never see any offsets emerging. They heard from others that snake plants easily produce offsets, so why don't the ones they grow ever seem to grow?

Actually, after looking into this issue, Xiaohua learned that most gardening friends never fertilize their snake plants after buying them, and just water them occasionally. If you also grow them this way, then don't blame them for not growing. If you don't even give them food, how can they grow?

Based on this, today Xiaohua will share a super simple method for fertilizing snake plants. It's super convenient. Let's take a look at today's sharing topic!

This "thing" has a "magical effect" for growing snake plants. Throw 3-4 grains into the pot, and the little shoots grow like crazy, as tough as steel drills

Actually, this thing is nothing else but soybeans. So why can soybeans be used to grow snake plants?

Everyone knows that snake plants are foliage plants, and foliage plants need a lot of nitrogen fertilizer to grow. Only when nitrogen fertilizer is sufficient can snake plants grow fast and well. Soybeans are rich in protein, which after fermentation is converted into nitrogen fertilizer. So using them to grow snake plants has a super good effect, with a special effect!

The specific method of use is as follows:

Take an appropriate amount of soybeans (here you can use moldy soybeans that are not fit to eat), soak them in clean water for about 1 day. After they swell, you can put them in a pressure cooker and simmer for about 30 minutes. After cooling, they are ready to use. There are two methods.

1. Simple and convenient, but slow to take effect

This method of use is the simplest. Directly dig a few holes at the edge of the pot, away from the roots, bury 3-4 soybeans in each hole, cover with soil, and that's it. Then as you water and as time goes on, the soybeans will ferment and decompose on their own in the soil. Because the fermentation and decomposition of soybeans takes a certain amount of time, under normal circumstances it takes about 30 days to see results. It is recommended to dig 3 holes at a time and use it once every 2 months or so, and you will get good results. Moreover, after use, it can make the potting soil loose and breathable, extremely good for nourishing the roots, and can make snake plants quickly burst out offsets like "steel drills".

2. Requires fermentation, but takes effect quickly

This method of use takes effect extremely quickly, generally showing results about 10 days after use. But you need to put the soybeans together with the water they were boiled in into a plastic bottle, put it in the sun to ferment. At the current temperature, fermentation can be completed in about 30-40 days. You can take the upper clear liquid, mix it with clean water, and water the snake plant at a ratio of 1:30, using it 3-4 times a month.

After use, it takes effect quickly, and the offsets grow fast and strong. If your potted plant grows offsets, after dividing them, growing them as shown in the picture above also looks very nice, right!
