The real reason your jasmine grows well but won't bloom

The jasmine you keep at home is growing nicely, but it just won't bloom. What's going on?
I don't know what state you mean by "growing nicely." As long as the temperature allows jasmine to keep growing, it will keep blooming. If it is growing very well, there are only two reasons why it won't bloom.
One is a lack of light. Jasmine has very strict requirements for light. To bloom, it must have sufficient light. During the growing stage of jasmine, you must give it the maximum light all year round. Even in summer, it does not need shading; you can simply put it directly in the sun. Just make sure the potting soil doesn't lack water or fertilizer, and it will grow well and bloom well. If it goes without light for a long time, it will produce leggy branches that grow very long and droop downward. If that happens, first cut the long branches back short and give it light promptly. Once there is enough light, it will bloom when new lateral buds and branches grow out.
The other situation is caused by improper fertilization. For any plant to bloom, it must be supplemented with phosphorus. Using nitrogen fertilizer for a long time will cause it to grow only leaves and no flowers, because nitrogen fertilizer is what makes branches and leaves grow. This is one of the main reasons jasmine won't bloom. If you have been fertilizing incorrectly, you can switch to a fertilizer mainly based on phosphorus and potassium. For example, monopotassium phosphate and the like are all fine. Use it two or three times a month, put the plant in a place with sufficient light, and it can easily produce flowers.
Of course, if jasmine has root rot or leaf rot, it will also fail to bloom. But you say yours is growing very well, yet it won't bloom, so it can only be caused by these two reasons. Handle it as I said, and it will bloom in at most one month.
