The city lies within its landscape gardens, and the landscape gardens lie within the city; Liuzhou's landscape garden scenery is renowned far and wide. On the morning of August 18, 2018, Zhonghua Garden in Liuhou Park was filled with guests as bonsai art masters and bonsai enthusiasts from all over the country gathered together to witness the unveiling and establishment of the Bonsai and Viewing Stone Branch of the Guangxi Society of Landscape Architecture. Moreover, the Bagui Fine Bonsai and Viewing Stone Exhibition will also display 140 fine award-winning bonsai and about 60 viewing stones.
After the unveiling ceremony, 5 national-level bonsai art masters demonstrated bonsai pruning techniques on site, giving the hundreds of spectators present a real feast for the eyes. In addition, as the first event after the establishment of the Bonsai and Viewing Stone Branch, the Bagui Fine Bonsai and Viewing Stone Exhibition brought together 140 fine bonsai works and about 60 viewing stones from all over the country for the citizens and visitors of Liuzhou to admire. The exhibition runs from August 18 to August 27.
According to reports, Zhonghua Garden in Liuhou Park was formerly a bonsai garden and is the birthplace of bonsai art in Liuzhou and even Guangxi, with influence in the bonsai and viewing stone circles of Guangxi and Southeast Asia. The establishment of the Bonsai and Viewing Stone Branch of the Guangxi Society of Landscape Architecture at Zhonghua Garden in Liuhou Park will have positive significance for the development of Liuzhou's bonsai and viewing stone industry and the construction of Liuzhou's ecological civilization.

On August 18, 2018, after the opening ceremony of the Bagui Fine Bonsai and Viewing Stone Exhibition, Master Li Yunlong, Master Liu Chuangang, Master Shi Peiyuan, Master Wang Hengliang and Master Zhang Zhigang gave live performances, and all the materials were selected locally in Liuzhou!
