Can Guzmania really absorb formaldehyde?
I. Whether it absorbs formaldehyde
All plants have a certain ability to absorb formaldehyde, but the absorption capacity of each pot of Guzmania is very limited, so if you want to absorb formaldehyde by placing Guzmania at home, it probably cannot meet the requirement. It can absorb formaldehyde, but the amount absorbed is very limited, so it is not a particularly effective way to absorb formaldehyde indoors.

II. How to care for it
1. Watering: Guzmania likes a humid growing environment, and there must be enough water; generally it needs watering once every 5-7 days. There should be plenty of water in the leaf cups; if it lacks water, it will wilt.
2. Light: Give it about 12 hours of light every day. Only with enough light and sufficient water can it grow better.
3. Fertilizing: During the peak growing season, fertilize once every 10-20 days, using fully fermented cake fertilizer or chemical fertilizer. Note that fertilizing should be suspended during its flowering period and dormant period.
