How can Lucky Bamboo be made to grow roots? Master these few methods
1. Suitable temperature
Give Lucky Bamboo a suitable growing temperature. For hydroponic growing, keep the water temperature above 5°C; ideally it should be above 15°C, so that it can enter a vigorous growth period and root more quickly.
2. Avoid stem damage
The stem of Lucky Bamboo must not be damaged. When purchasing, some damage is hidden and cannot be observed; for example, in winter in the north, if it stays outdoors for even a slightly long time, it may suffer frost damage, but if you do not look carefully at the appearance, it is not very easy to see. There are also times when the cuttings are dehydrated for too long, which is also unfavorable for later rooting.

3. Proper shading
For cut Lucky Bamboo, what it needs to grow roots is a dark environment, yet many people like to put it in a transparent container when growing it. In fact, in this kind of environment, strong light will inhibit root formation. Therefore, in water culture, especially when the root system is insufficient and there are almost no roots, it is best in the early stage to place the root area in a dark environment, which will be more conducive to root formation.
4. Add auxin
You can add some auxin and rooting agent to the water to stimulate Lucky Bamboo to sprout new roots. Doing this can make its new roots emerge as quickly as possible and make the roots grow relatively abundantly.
