1. Leaves

Tuberose has basal leaves, about 6-9 clustered together, linear, about 40-60 cm long and about 1 cm wide, with relatively pointed tips; the leaf color is dark green. The leaves on the flower stem are scattered and gradually become smaller upward into bract-like forms.

2. Flowers

Tuberose has a spike inflorescence growing at the top, with 2 flowers in each bract; the bracts are green, the flowers are milky white and strongly fragrant, about 3.5-7 cm long, and the perianth tube is about 2.5-4.5 cm long, slightly curved at the base. The perianth and lobes are similar in shape, both oblong-lanceolate, about 1.2-2 cm long. The stamens grow inside the perianth tube, and the style is relatively slender, with a 3-lobed stigma. The flowering period is from July to September.
