7 flowers that explode into a full pot as soon as you grow them, and even more flower pots won't be enough

Huahua is an impatient person, and when growing flowers, she fears slow growth, so she especially likes flowers that easily fill a pot. Among the many varieties she has grown, there are 7 that, once they fill a pot, cannot be stopped. In just a few months, flower pots are no longer enough, and she has given them to all her relatives and friends, simply growing them until it becomes annoying!
Kalanchoe daigremontiana
Kalanchoe daigremontiana is also called mother of thousands. A few years ago, Huahua grew one as a succulent, and the result got out of hand. Somehow it fell to the ground and actually grew into a large patch!
Besides the common broad-leaf Kalanchoe daigremontiana, Huahua has also seen many flower lovers growing the following stick-leaf Kalanchoe daigremontiana. It is quite pretty, but at a glance at these densely packed small buds, Huahua gets scared!
Propagation and care:
Kalanchoe daigremontiana produces small buds along the leaf edges. The small buds grow aerial roots by themselves, and after falling off they take root and survive. In the floor tile gaps in the picture below, it is all small offspring of Kalanchoe daigremontiana!
There is nothing particularly special about growing Kalanchoe daigremontiana. Just do not expose it to strong sun in summer. The more you ignore it, the more wildly it grows. For flower lovers troubled by this, Huahua advises you not to throw it around casually, otherwise it will spread over a large area, comparable to an invasive organism!
Spider plant
Spider plant also counts as a flower that grows explosively. Look at the curly spider plant at flower lover @Huakang Sheng's home: 1 plant grew into a patch, and one corner of the home is piled full!
Propagation and care:
Spider plant is easy to keep alive, but hard to grow until it produces many pups. This flower lover's secret is homemade fertilizer. Look at the bottles and jars at his home; they are all homemade fruit peel fertilizer and rice-washing water fertilizer. After fermenting them thoroughly, mix with water and water twice a month, and usually spray the spider plant leaves with water more often.
Wait until the spider plant produces small pups and grows aerial roots, then cut them off first and plant them in a sand box, spray water to keep moist and settle the roots. After half a month, when the seedlings have grown stable, transplant them into flower pots.
Aloe
The pot-filled aloe that flower lover @Caoma Kuangmo 1 picked up in the community was clearly "rejected" by its owner because filling the pot was too terrifying. It was thrown out and, with no one caring for it, turned red and was close to dying.
After removing the broken pot, it was actually all roots inside, with very little soil even, which shows that aloe has a very strong "will to survive"! Based on visual judgment, Huahua thinks it may be Chinese aloe. Remove the dead leaves, keep the green parts and let them dry, and it can still survive!
Propagation and care:
The soil for planting aloe cannot be too hard. Sandy soil is best, which helps the buds push through. Every spring, summer and autumn is the growing period for aloe. At this time, control watering and wait until the soil is completely dry before watering thoroughly, to stimulate sprouting.
Aloe is recognized as a lazy person's flower. Usually give it more sun, and by no means water too frequently, otherwise it will grow leggy and become thinner and thinner. You can water it with thoroughly fermented rice-washing water and soybean water to keep it plump!
Offset cactus
Offset cactus is a cactus that grows by dividing offsets. Unlike traditional single cacti that grow slowly, offset cactus can constantly produce small offsets. People with trypophobia should be cautious about growing it!
Propagation and care:
For offset cactus, you can cut off the small offsets, apply some carbendazim to the cut, then dry them in a cool place, plant them directly in soil, give little water, and keep ventilation to keep them alive~
Offset cactus is a cactus, so when watering, do not splash water on the body, as it easily rots. Use a long-spout kettle to water into the pot. Usually give more sun to avoid leggy growth~
Heartleaf aptenia
Heartleaf aptenia, which survives from a single cut branch, fills a pot without ambiguity, so that even the flower pot cannot be seen, and it can also be grown into a waterfall!
Propagation and care:
Cut a few heartleaf aptenia branches, with or without flowers, insert them into moist, breathable soil, and put them in a cool place to grow. If they still look spirited after 3 days, it means there is hope. Occasionally spray water to keep moist, and they will root in less than ten days.
Usually do not water too frequently; spraying the leaves with water more often is better. With sufficient sunlight, the leaves are greener. Pruning 2 months before the flowering period and pruning after the flowering period are both indispensable~
Garden balsam
In the old hometown, dense patches of garden balsam always grow in front of and behind the houses. Its reproductive ability is astonishing. Once the seed pods after flowering burst open, the seeds immediately fall into the soil, and the next year there is an even larger patch!
Propagation and care:
Once the garden balsam flowers fade, you can collect its seed pods, put them in a plastic bag and place them in a dry place at home. In April-May of the next year, scatter the seeds into the soil and water a little and they will germinate.
Garden balsam likes cool places, and in summer it should avoid exposure to strong sunlight. Keep the potting soil slightly moist. If growing it at home, it is best to use leaf mold soil; with good nutrition, you can grow plump garden balsam~
Copper coin grass
Copper coin grass has astonishing pot-filling power. Many flower lovers report that the flower pots at home are too small, so they can only grow it in large vats and large foam boxes. Even so, they still have to throw away more than ten jin, it really grows too well!
Propagation and care:
Copper coin grass is very easy to keep alive. Take one stem and grow it in water for a month and it becomes a clump. But there is not much nutrition in the water. Huahua suggests growing it together with fish; the fish's bath water is its best fertilizer!
Copper coin grass easily grows in a sprawling, aggressive way, so you can often give it a buzz cut. This way it fills the pot faster, and its growth is more uniform, making it look more beautiful!
