Succulents actually have fragrances too, making you want to take a bite

Ice Plum (Echeveria 'Ice Plum') - Vanilla Ice Cream Scent
The scent of Ice Plum is really quite pleasant, fresh and sweet like vanilla ice cream, making it hard to resist taking a bite. Sun-exposed Ice Plum seems to have a more intense fragrance, and in terms of appearance, Ice Plum with leaf edges that turn peach-pink is equally impressive compared to other succulents!
Rolau (Sedum clavatum) - Fruity Scent
Although Rolau and Luoqi are confusingly hard to tell apart, Rolau's scent is also sweet without being cloying, more like a fruity fragrance. When lacking water, the scent becomes more intense, so if Rolau suddenly becomes very fragrant, be careful - Rolau is already lacking water!!
Red Frost (Echeveria 'Red Frost') - Perfume Scent
Red Frost's fragrance is probably one of the more intense ones, very fragrant, even approaching perfume, yet smelling it doesn't make you feel cloyed. If you like it, it might even surpass luxury perfumes. After all, some luxury perfumes are also easy to tire of when worn!
Sedum anglicum - Pine Scent
Sedum anglicum, which easily fills its pot, has always been a favorite among succulent lovers, but have you ever noticed that Sedum anglicum also has a fragrance? Pine scent, or you could say like the fragrance of green grass. Imagine that when smelling Sedum anglicum, you feel like you're in a meadow, the air is clean, and even your mood becomes bright and cheerful.
Damo Fujiang (Cotyledon 'Damo Fujiang') - Lemon Oil Scent??
If Damo Fujiang's scent had to be compared to something, it would be lemon oil. Under the sun's rays, Damo Fujiang's fragrance becomes more intense than usual.
Blue Bean (Graptopetalum 'Blue Bean') - Fruity Scent
Blue Bean's fragrance is also very pleasant. After a heavy watering and then sun exposure, the scent becomes much more intense. Many succulent lovers are deeply enchanted by Blue Bean's fragrance. The little beans have a sweet fruity scent, fresh and pleasant - simply can't be better!
String of Pearls (Senecio rowleyanus) - Milky Scent
String of Pearls' scent becomes very intense when it blooms. Placed on the balcony, once String of Pearls blooms, probably the whole balcony is filled with its fragrance, but being too intense combined with a milky scent, personally I find it relatively easy to tire of.
Bear's Paw (Cotyledon tomentosa) - Indescribable Scent
Bear's Paw is also a widely popular succulent, after all, those red claw tips are just too cute. But opinions on Bear's Paw's scent vary - some find it quite pleasant, while others can't bear to smell it, finding it stinky as if sniffing a real bear!
Plectranthus amboinicus - Fresh Sweet Scent
Plectranthus amboinicus lives up to its name - it would be a shame if it weren't fragrant. A very pleasant scent, fresh and sweet like smelling a fruit, very comfortable, and the fragrance is not controversial - generally everyone can smell it.
Purple Velvet (Echeveria 'Purple Velvet') - Extremely Intense
Purple Velvet's leaves carry a fragrance. It's not very noticeable in sunlight; when not in direct sun, the scent is relatively intense. As for this intensity, most people probably wouldn't like it, feeling it's not fragrant but pungent, right?
Mexican Giant (Echeveria 'Mexican Giant') - Sweet Scent
Although it's called Giant, and people's impression of the word "giant" is probably far from "sweet fragrance," right? But our Mexican Giant is also a shy little cutie with a sweet scent.
Of course, some hybrid varieties, if the mother plant has fragrance, are also very likely to retain the scent. Feel free to leave a comment about other fragrant succulents!!
