What kinds of tall, upscale green plants are suitable for growing indoors?

These days more and more people like to keep one or two pots of green plants in the living room; a suitable green plant makes the living room look upscale and full of life. Today we would like to recommend a few large potted plants that are very suitable for growing indoors.
Rubber tree
The rubber tree has thick, broad leaves; the foliage is fresh and deep green, giving it high ornamental value. For the living room we can choose a rubber tree with a taller, larger form, which looks even more imposing, while smaller and medium-sized forms are also very suitable for growing in the bedroom or study.
The rubber tree likes a hot, humid environment with plenty of sunlight; it is fairly shade-tolerant but not cold-tolerant. When the climate is dry, we can increase the amount of watering and regularly spray the leaves with water to keep them moist; in autumn and winter watering should be gradually reduced.
Bird of paradise
Bird of paradise, also called crane flower, has leaves that stay green all year round, and its flowers are strangely shaped, like a colorful bird spreading its wings to fly, very beautiful.
Bird of paradise likes a warm, humid environment with plenty of light; it fears the cold, so friends growing it in the north must be sure to keep it warm in winter, and in summer when temperatures are high it must also be protected from extreme heat. The soil for planting should be a loose, airy, fertile sandy soil.
Fiddle-leaf fig
The fiddle-leaf fig has an upright stem and dense, oily-green foliage; it is an ideal green plant to place in the living room.
The fiddle-leaf fig likes a sunny, warm and humid environment; it enters dormancy at around 15°C, and in winter the temperature must be kept above 5°C so that it can survive the winter safely. The best way to water a fiddle-leaf fig is to keep the potting soil constantly moist.
Monstera
Monstera, also called ceriman, has a unique leaf shape and emerald-green leaves; it is a very popular indoor potted plant. Keeping a pot of monstera at home is unique and eye-catching, full of fresh beauty.
Monstera: spray water around it and on the leaves to keep the air humid. To grow monstera, choose a fertile, loose, slightly acidic soil with good water retention.
Peace tree
The peace tree has a graceful form and small, emerald-green leaves; it is a very precious indoor ornamental green plant. In Hawaii, people believe the peace tree can bring them peace and happiness, so they place them in front of their homes or in the living room.
The peace tree likes light but is also shade-tolerant; even if the living room does not get very good light, there is no need to worry at all. To plant a peace tree, choose a loose, airy, fertile soil with good drainage.
Friends who are worried about what plant to keep in the living room can choose the peace tree; keeping one at home blesses the household with peace and looks imposing too, simply wonderful!
