The joys of growing flowers are many, and their benefits are great too: they decorate the home beautifully, and they can also lift the spirits, cultivate the mind, make people feel cheerful, and improve quality of life

And now the weather is gradually turning cooler, with temperatures suitable for the growth of most flowers and plants. This is especially true right now for propagating roses (Rosa chinensis), which is particularly easy. The joy of growing flowers lies right here, and it is an absolute delight!

The rose is called the queen of flowers, and it is also one of China's top ten famous flowers. It comes in a wide range of colors, with bright and vivid hues, and is greatly loved by people. Propagating roses is also part of the joy of caring for them. Propagate several pots at once, and the beauty is stunning!

To propagate roses, you can use vermiculite cuttings. Vermiculite is also very cheap; usually just a few yuan gets you a big bag. Roots form quickly, the survival rate is very high, and the process is simple, easy to learn at once.

Specific method

Take several transparent disposable plastic cups and poke a few small holes in the bottom of each cup to make water absorption easy. Add vermiculite to the plastic cups, place them on a tray, and keep plenty of water in the tray.

Cut rose branches into 10 cm small sections, keep one to two leaves, insert them into the prepared vermiculite, and place them in a cool spot with diffused light. Be careful to improve ventilation and air exchange. After about 7 to 10 days they will take root; once the roots grow to 5-8 cm, they can be moved into pots.

Use this method to propagate roses, and you can propagate several pots at once, with plenty of fun!
