Does the Chunlan 'Guiyuan Mei' orchid bloom with fragrance? Price and characteristics explained
Chunlan (Cymbidium goeringii) can be said to be the orchid type with the most varieties among orchids, and the Guiyuan Mei orchid is one of the varieties of Chunlan. It was selected by Zhu Xiangbao of Shaoxing in the early Republic of China, and is also known by the alias Saijinxuan. So what kind of appearance characteristics does it have?

The outer three petals of the Guiyuan Mei orchid are short and round, with a half-hard, closed-backed pouch-like petal structure, tall scapes, and a well-proportioned flower form. It has a small liu hai tongue, with dark red round dots on the tongue, and one-character shoulders. The leaves are semi-pendant. The Guiyuan Mei orchid likes sunlight, but does not bloom easily.
