Black nightshade is called the "king of detoxification"; keep a pot at home, and it will handle minor ailments and illnesses

Many people grow flowers and plants at home, but the vast majority grow them merely to admire their beauty, and also because flowers can make a room look nicer and make guests feel that the grower has very good taste. But in fact, doing so completely wastes the value of many flowers and plants; growing flowers this way cannot bring people any practical benefit, because many plants have other, more useful values. So in ordinary times we can grow some plants and flowers that can bring us useful value. Today I will introduce a plant very familiar to rural people; its medicinal value is very strong, and it is very good to grow at home.
This "black nightshade" is called the "king of detoxification"; keep a pot at home, and it will handle minor ailments and illnesses!
As rural people, everyone should have heard of black nightshade. It is a black berry that people often picked and ate as children; it has a sweet-and-sour taste. But do you know what this black nightshade is really called? Its real name is Solanum nigrum (black nightshade). Solanum nigrum has very high medicinal value; its stems, berries and leaves can all be used as medicine. Its greatest effect is clearing heat and detoxifying, and nourishing and protecting the liver. So if people grow it at home and make good use of its value, it can be of great help to the body. However, I suggest everyone still not eat it raw, since after all it is not very hygienic; you can cook it thoroughly before eating, which can bring out its medicinal value and be better for the body. Next, let me introduce how to grow it!
1. Sowing Solanum nigrum
Solanum nigrum can be grown from seed. Its berries are its seeds. When the berries are ripe, place them in a natural environment to dry, but note that they must not be exposed to the blazing sun, otherwise the viability of the seeds may be affected. After drying, we can soak the seeds in water for 20 to 30 minutes, then take them out and bury them in soil to propagate. Loosen the prepared soil to a depth of 2 cm, then bury the seeds, cover with a thin layer of soil, water the soil until moist, and then wait for them to sprout.
2. Fertilizing method after Solanum nigrum sprouts
After Solanum nigrum sprouts, we still need to care for it, otherwise it will not grow vigorously, because after all it is not in the wild, where there is not so much nutrition and fertile environment. So we need to supplement nutrients for Solanum nigrum, so that it produces more and more berries and the plant grows larger and larger. I suggest using nitrogen fertilizer and phosphorus fertilizer to supplement Solanum nigrum. I recommend using worm castings and soybean fertilizer, two common household flower fertilizers; the effect will be very good.
3. Watering method after Solanum nigrum sprouts
We all know that Solanum nigrum is a wild plant, so its survival ability is very tenacious. For ordinary watering, we can adopt the principle of watering when dry and stopping when wet, so that Solanum nigrum grows very vigorously and also produces more and more berries. When watering, we can also add a little nutrient substance to the water, such as rice-washing water and beer water; both of these can be added and used, and we can also directly use fish tank water for watering.
4. Placement of Solanum nigrum
When growing flowers at home, you must pay attention to placement and must not put them just anywhere. You should know that all plants love light very much, so we need to place Solanum nigrum in a sunny spot on the balcony, and keep the environment ventilated. Only in this way can Solanum nigrum grow very vigorously.
Therefore, by using this method, we can easily grow a pot of Solanum nigrum at home, and before long, Solanum nigrum will grow new berries. Use it when you have minor illnesses and pains in ordinary times, but everyone should note that not all diseases can be treated with it; if there are special symptoms, please still go to the hospital for an examination.
