What is the difference between Mountain Rose and Egg Rose?
1. Differences in the plant:
The base of Mountain Rose is upright and compact, pressed together, while the top spreads outward to form a rose shape. It is divided into large varieties and small varieties. Large varieties can grow to 30 to 40 cm or even larger, while small varieties are only 2 to 4 cm.
The Egg Rose plant is arranged in a rosette shape. It is a medium-to-large variety and is a variation of the former's large variety, at about 45 cm or so.
2. Differences in the leaves:
The former has subtle differences in leaf color, with colors divided into many types such as emerald green, blue-green, or gray-green.
The latter is obovate or spoon-shaped, and its color is leaf green.
3. Differences in the flowers:
The former has yellow flowers and a longer flowering period, from the very beginning of spring to early summer.
The latter has a raceme inflorescence and rarely blooms, flowering only once every several years, so the wait is longer.
