Huahua recently noticed that sweet figs have started being sold everywhere on the streets. However, figs on the market are really too expensive, and eating just one or two is simply not satisfying! Today, Huahua will teach everyone how to grow figs at home, so the fruit they bear is big, plentiful, and delicious!

Cuttings grown this way give 1 plant a full 5 jin of fruit!

1. Choose relatively robust branches for cuttings, and make sure the cutting branches have growing buds. Cut the cutting branches into pieces about 15 cm long and soak them in water for 10 minutes.

2. While the cutting branches are soaking in water, prepare the cutting container. Find a slightly larger plastic bucket, scrub it clean, then line the bottom with a layer of wet towel, and spread a layer of wet paper towel on top.

3. Wrap the cutting branches with wet paper towels and place them in the plastic bucket.

4. Cover the mouth of the plastic bucket with a layer of wet paper towel, then cover and seal it with plastic wrap.

5. Place the cutting plastic bucket in a dark environment to force roots, or directly put a black plastic bag over the outside of the plastic bucket for shading.

6. In about 3 days, the cutting branches will sprout white fine roots and a bunch of small white dots, and these small white dots will all grow into thick white roots later.

7. Plant the branches that have successfully been forced to root. The cutting soil can be a mix of garden soil, coal cinder, and wood shavings.

8. In about 1 week, the cutting branches will grow thick white roots. After another two weeks, once the cutting branches have grown leaves, you can consider potting them or planting them in the ground.

9. After transplanting, place the fig in a spot with plenty of light, and regularly prune leggy branches to increase fruit production.

10. By the second year, you can harvest a full pot of figs!

Figs can also be eaten this way, definitely save this!

Plant 1 fig on the balcony, and the branches are packed full of fruit. What can you do if you cannot finish eating them all? Do not worry, Huahua will teach you to make lung-moistening and cough-relieving fig, lily, and snow pear soup. The dry autumn is coming soon, so hurry and have a bowl!

1. Take 6 figs, wash them clean and cut them in half, and soak the dried lilies in advance until opened.

2. Prepare 1 snow pear, peel and core it, and cut it into small pieces for later use.

3. Pour clean water into a clay pot. After the water boils, add the snow pear. After it boils again, put the figs, lilies, and red dates into the clay pot.

4. After the water boils, turn to low heat, add rock sugar, and simmer for another 40 minutes.

If you also like eating sweet figs,
