Summer is the time when there are especially many ants, and many flower lovers are afraid that the flowers in their homes will be harmed by ants. But did you know? Ant soil can also be used to grow flowers.

We all know that ant soil is made up of bits of soil carried together by ants, then stuck together with their saliva; the soil texture is very fine and rather loose and soft.

Collect some ant soil near an anthill, then disinfect it: spray some ant-killing and insect-killing pesticide on the soil, and put the soil under the sun to bake.

If you are worried that disinfecting with these chemicals is not thorough enough, you can spray it with carbendazim as well, then bake it under the sun for two or three days, and it is basically ready.

This soil can be used to grow succulents or other flowers. When mixing soil, add some ant soil to the granular soil, and it can be used to grow flowers.

This ant soil is soft in texture and very fine; mixed with granular soil, it can make the potting soil loose and give it good drainage, which benefits the growth of the plant's root system.

If you mean keeping ants directly in the flower pot, that is absolutely not allowed, because ants will bite the plant's roots and thus damage the plant's growth.

Ant soil is actually a very good soil for growing flowers. Hurry and see whether there is any around your home.
