We all place quite a few pieces of furniture and appliances around the home for convenience in daily life, but when placing these items you must pay close attention to their position. Placed well, they can help keep your family healthy and safe.

1. Appliances. TVs, refrigerators, washing machines and the like are all essential household appliances. The refrigerator and washing machine are fine, but the main concern is the TV: do not place it directly facing the foot of the bed, as it produces a fair amount of radiation that affects your health. It is best not to place a TV or other appliances in the bedroom at all.

2. Sofa. When placing a sofa in the living room, the biggest taboo is having a beam directly above it. Try to avoid this when positioning it. In addition, the sofa should be placed against a wall as much as possible to allow the energy flow to be smoother. For the coffee table that goes with the sofa, it is best to have rounded corners, to avoid sharp angles striking the sofa.

3. Shoe cabinet. In many homes the shoe cabinet sits in the entryway by the front door, but do not place the shoe cabinet directly facing the front door. The left side of the front door is the Azure Dragon position, and the right side is mainly the White Tiger position; the shoe cabinet is best placed in the White Tiger position on the right.

4. Wardrobe. Having a wardrobe in the bedroom is completely normal, and it is best if the wardrobe matches the bed, as this creates a consistent energy field. In addition, the wardrobe should ideally be placed against a wall, forming a perpendicular arrangement with the bed. However, a wardrobe with a mirror should not face the bed, otherwise it will affect the owner's relationship and health.

5. Bed. The bed is an important place for rest, and certain principles should be followed for its placement. The head of the bed should not be against a wall, should not be against a window, and should not be parallel to the entryway position; it can be perpendicular to the door. The same goes for the foot of the bed: it should not face the door or a window, and the area above the bed should also avoid being pressed down by a beam.

6. Tables and chairs. There is also particular care to be taken in placing the writing desk, study desk, dressing table and so on in the home. When placing larger tables and chairs, be careful not to have your back to the window while facing the door; this arrangement will affect the relationship between husband and wife, causing one partner to be dominant and the two to be at odds.

The above are some suggestions for common household items. I hope they are helpful to friends, so that in future renovation and placement you can create a home you are satisfied with.
