Why do roses always get yellow leaves? Actually, the reasons always come down to the following few causes! A few days ago, a flower grower came to me in a hurry, asking why the roses at home just couldn't make it in summer, and after trying many methods still couldn't find the answer. Seeing other people's roses full of lush branches and leaves while their own still looked half-dead, let's take a look at how to solve this!

This situation has many aspects, and I've summarized the causes as follows: soil, fertilizing, and management. Let's take a look at how to solve them! With proper management, they can bloom a second time in autumn too!

The first step is to clean up the leaves in the flower pot

I had just said to clean up, and the flower grower said they thought it was for fertilizer. Isn't it great to leave them in the pot!

I said, "Fallen leaves are no problem for plants grown in the ground, but for potted plants, a large amount of fallen leaves creates a big problem, for example, when they rot they breed bacteria and diseases also increase, so don't hesitate to clean up the leaves."

The second step is to prune the spent flowers

Spent flowers or ones that haven't bloomed don't matter, prune them all at once. Not only is it more beautiful, but it's also very beneficial for growth. After pruning, you can spray once with carbendazim for disinfection.

Just prune to where there are bud points, don't over-prune. It's best to keep leaves on every branch, otherwise growth will be relatively slow.

Condition with good fertilizer

This kind of rose is almost a toothpick seedling, and after pruning it needs shade treatment for more than 7 days. At this time, you should give the rose an organic nutrient solution that promotes root repair, and promoting bud growth is the key point.

We can choose a nutrient solution fermented from sugarcane, diluted 500 times to use on the rose. Once every 5 days, following this method, the rose can start sprouting after 15 days. At this time, remember not to water too much, the rose can't handle a second injury.

Change the soil in autumn if the soil is poor

Now is still not a suitable time to change the soil, decide based on the temperature. By autumn, basically everyone can change the soil, and if the soil is poor you should consider changing it. Roses like breathable soil with high organic matter; if the soil has low organic matter and isn't breathable, then naturally they won't grow well.

Those who are able to mix soil themselves can choose coconut coir + imported peat + rose controlled-release fertilizer, etc., mixed in a certain ratio. If you don't know how, just choose a ready-made professional soil mix.
