For flowers to grow well, fertilizer and nutrients are indispensable! When fertilizing flowers, we usually buy fertilizer and nutrient solution, but actually many things in daily life can also serve as flower fertilizer, such as our edible vinegar. Vinegar contains glucose, lactic acid and other beneficial substances. Not only can people consume it, it can also be used to grow flowers!

The role of edible vinegar in potted flowers:

1. Preventing yellowing disease of branches and leaves:

When watering the plants, pour an appropriate amount of edible vinegar into the watering can. This can promote the plant's absorption of trace elements such as phosphorus and iron, and can prevent yellowing disease of branches and leaves.

2. Promoting plant growth:

Dilute edible vinegar with water and spray it on the leaf surface. For example, flowering plants such as rhododendrons and camellias, as well as foliage plants like pothos, are all suitable. Be sure to use a small amount. The ratio of edible vinegar to water is about 1:300, and spray once every 15 days. Doing this can make the plant's flowers larger and leaves greener.

3. Neutralizing alkaline soil:

Dilute edible vinegar with water at a ratio of about 1:150, and use the solution to irrigate flowers and trees. This can overcome physiological diseases caused by the pot soil's pH value being too alkaline.

4. Eliminating pests:

Use a towel or cotton ball dipped in edible vinegar to wipe the flower leaves. If there are pests hiding on the plant, it will make pests such as red spiders and aphids appear, and then they can be eliminated one by one.

5. Removing odors:

If potted flowers are grown indoors, after applying organic fertilizer, it is inevitable that some unpleasant smell will remain. At this time, if an appropriate amount of vinegar solution is watered in, it can both eliminate the odor and sterilize and disinfect the soil, achieving two goals at once.

6. Disinfection:

If you are repotting a potted flower, you can first rinse it with edible vinegar, which can serve a disinfecting purpose.

Tip: Household edible vinegar must be used, and chemically industrial vinegar must not be used. When spraying the plant leaves, do not choose noon in midsummer; it can be done in the morning or evening.
