Double-flowered petunia, with large and full blooms that resemble peonies, with layered double petals and rich colors. When in full bloom it is a profusion of flowers, a lively spectacle, and the blooming period is long, with flowers opening continuously from April to the end of November.

Planting process:

(1). When sowing, water the soil thoroughly to keep it moist, then press the seeds onto the surface of the soil. Petunia seeds are very tiny, and germination requires ample light, so there is no need to cover them with soil; use a sprayer for watering to ensure the seeds are not washed away.

(2). When the seeds germinate and take root and grow to a certain extent, pruning by pinching is needed. Generally, when the seedlings grow to the rim of the pot, pinch off the growing tips to maintain an attractive shape for the potted plant; just do it according to your own preference. Pinching is often carried out: when 7~8 leaves have grown, pinch the tips and keep 4 leaves; after 3 lateral vines have grown, keep 4 leaves again and pinch the tips. Make sure each pot has no more than 9 flower buds, which makes the plant full and the flowers large.

(3). Petunias like an environment with ample light. After the seedlings emerge, they need to be placed in a spot with ample light for growing, especially during the growth period. From sowing to flowering takes about 80 days, during which ample light must be ensured; otherwise flowering will be affected, blooming will be delayed, and the number of flowers will be small.

(4). Water in the morning and evening; do not water too much, and keep the potting soil moist. In the plum rain season there is a lot of rain and the potting soil becomes too wet, so pay attention to draining excess water promptly; therefore a loose potting soil with good drainage is needed, otherwise the stems and leaves tend to grow leggy, the flowers fade, and rot easily occurs.
