Start of Autumn has arrived. Take this opportunity to sow two handfuls of flower seeds and grow a whole mass of blooms. Which flowers are more suitable? Below we introduce the techniques for sowing flowers!

Sowing process:

(1). Soil: choose a loose, fertile, well-drained, slightly acidic sandy soil. Specifically, you still need to prepare the required soil according to the characteristics of the flowers.

(2). Sowing: then scatter the flower seeds onto the surface of the soil and water thoroughly once to keep the soil moist, which helps germination and rooting. Keep them in a well-ventilated place for care.

(3). Rooting: generally in about 1 week they will sprout in about a week. After sprouting, you need to keep misting every day to keep the soil in a moist state, maintaining a ventilated environment with diffused light. In about 20 days, white roots will grow.

(4). Temporary planting: wait until the seeds have rooted and sprouted. At this point the seedlings are small, and when cultivating them you cannot plant them directly into a large pot, so temporary planting is needed. This can increase the survival rate of the seedlings. Put the seedlings with their soil into a smaller container; a paper cup will do. Keep them in a ventilated place with diffused light for care, mist in the morning and evening, and keep the soil moist.

(5). Final planting: after temporary planting, wait until the leaves of the seedlings have grown a little more lush, then the seedlings can be finally planted. You can choose a flower pot with a rim diameter greater than 20cm. For the soil, mix garden soil, perlite and coal in a certain ratio. Prepare the pot and soil, remove the paper cup, and transplant the seedlings together with their soil into the pot soil. Keep them in a cool place for 1~2 days, then place them in a place with ample light to grow flowers. Pinch off the tips often, which can promote plant growth.

(6). Care: in the early stage after planting, apply a dilute nitrogen fertilizer solution once every 10 days, which can promote lush plant growth. Before flowering, apply a little potassium dihydrogen phosphate, which can promote flowering.

Note: generally the seeds will be covered with a layer of wet paper towel, or after sowing a layer of soil is placed on top. Note that some flowers cannot be covered, such as petunia, lobelia, lisianthus, baby's breath, campanula, etc., because the seeds of this type of flower are very tiny and will not receive light after being covered, which affects germination.
