Snake plants: just use these 3 types of soil, and they will grow sturdy and rot-free

Snake plant not growing at all? You used the wrong soil, no matter how you care for it, it is all in vain!
Leaf mold: it is relatively loose and soft and has a very high nutrient content, can provide nutrients for the growth of the snake plant, and help it grow better. Sandy soil: this is a soil with very good drainage and aeration, and using it can prevent root rot caused by waterlogged soil. Garden soil: this kind of soil is relatively easy to obtain, but it is best to mix in base fertilizer before use.
1. Leaf mold
Leaf mold is a relatively loose and soft soil with a very high nutrient content. This kind of soil can provide nutrients for the plant's growth and help it grow better. This soil can be bought from flower shops, or collected from places outdoors where there are fallen leaves. However, note that you must not choose new soil, because new soil contains fresh leaves that have not yet been fully decomposed by microorganisms; not only can it not provide nutrients to the plant, but it will also hinder the plant's growth.
2. Sandy soil
This soil is a type of soil with very good drainage and aeration. Using this soil for growing plants can prevent root rot caused by water accumulating in the soil. Its aeration is also very good, and it can provide fresh oxygen to the plant's roots, helping them breathe, thereby increasing the efficiency with which the plant absorbs nutrients from the soil.
3. Garden soil
This soil is relatively loose and soft, and also has a certain degree of drainage and aeration, so it can be used for growing snake plants. The biggest advantage of using this soil is that it is convenient to obtain; it can be collected from gardens or from green belts. However, the nutrient content of this soil may not be very high, so it is necessary to increase the soil's fertility by additionally adding base fertilizer. Specifically, you can mix in some decomposed bean cake or chicken manure. If you want to improve the soil's drainage and aeration, you can add another portion of coal cinder to it.
